We are confident that you will find the eTalk-GT to be the best choice for enabling audible, personal communication for individuals unable to use their natural voice. The eTalk-GT is designed for use by any non-vocal individual who can access the device using the touch screen, any USB input device or one or two switch scanning to use individual or combined symbols, text, sounds and/or pictures to create words, phrases and sentences. The GT is a dedicated speech device that is smaller than a standard PC tablet yet larger than a handheld, with a brighter easier to see screen and louder built in audio volume than either. Since it is not based on a PC type platform, there are no worries that a program might be added that destroys the communication capability or introduces a virus.

The GT uses a specially modified version of TouchSpeak software that features sophisticated yet simple to operate editing features. This includes creation of new pages, altering the number of buttons on a page, finding symbols, changing colors and spacing, plus the addition and editing of keys with functions like "add", "edit", "copy", "paste", and "swap". However, some special features such as the creation of pages with large graphics with hidden buttons can be created using a PC. It is also possible to have vocabulary creation and editing done entirely on the PC and downloaded to the eTalk-GT if that is more comfortable for the clinician. Every eTalk-GT is supplied with the new expanded set of Imagine symbols. Other symbol sets such as SymbolStyx, Widgit, and Mayer Johnson can be supplied as an option at additional cost.
